THE MAIN EVENT:

RAce ACross the West, June 17 to 21.

The Race Across the West is a 1000 mile bicycle race where Solo participants are given a time limit of 92 Hours to complete. The Route goes from the Pacific Ocean in Oceanside California, across the deserts of Arizona, Nevada, Utah, and into the high mountains of Colorado, then down to New Mexico to the Finish Line.

 The Race Across the West is known as the 'Toughest' part of the Race Across America.

Things we must also provide for Our mission:

We will need an assortment of spare bike equipment like tires, tubes, a chain and cassette. Lighting systems as well as batteries and chargers.

Communitcations is super important. Radio's, cell phone's and wireless net for example.

 And if course the reliable vehicle that needs to get us through the Sonora Desert. Round trip we will drive nearly 8000 km's. But the Team needs a small van, either rental or borrowed.

 Vehicles size retrictions are very strict at this event, for safety. Hopefully we can secure the right vehicle for the job.
